How it works

- Take the photo.ProofStamp keeps the exact photo file it receives and creates a record for it on your device.
- Save Photo + ProofStamp.The ZIP contains the original photo and the files needed to check its ProofStamp later. Keep the ZIP somewhere you can find it.
- Add an email time checkpoint if useful.Email is optional. Send the ProofStamp soon after the photo for more useful timing evidence. A received email gives you a dated copy outside this device without sending the photo.
- Check later.Choose the saved ZIP. A match means the photo still matches its accompanying record. An earlier receipt or email link can additionally connect it to that earlier ProofStamp.
What a match does not prove
It does not prove who took the photo, that the scene is true, or that device-reported time or location was accurate. Without an earlier receipt or reference, a matching ZIP does not establish when the ProofStamp first existed.
